Stansted Airport Transfer By Bus


Buses provide Fast and frequent Stansted Airport transfer to many London destinations. Each of the desintation offer excellent onward travel options via the London Bus Service, London Tube and Overground Trains.

There are four bus options:
  • National Express
  • easyBus
  • Terravision
  • Eastend Express
National Expresss

The National Express runs two services. The A6 to Victoria Coach Station running up to every 10 minutes and the A9 to Staford and Liverpool St up to every 30 minutes.

Cost: Starting at £8.50 one way for adults

Time: 45 - 100 minutes

easyBus

easyBus runs a fast and cheap (as long as you get a deal!) Stansted Airport transfer. The buses are smaller and faster than the other operators and run regularly from Baker St. If you want to secure your seat and get the best price, book online!

In arrivals hall easyBus is well sign posted so if you need any help just ask the desk staff. If you arrive late or early, don't stress. Your ticket will be valid for 60 minutes before and after your time of travel.

Cost: Starting at £2.00 one way for adults

Time: 75 minutes

Terravision

Terravision Stansted Airport transfer service offers two routes. The A50 to Victoria up to every 30 minutes and the A51 to Liverpool St up to every 30 minutes.

Cost: Starting at £9.00 one way for adults

Time: 55 - 75 minutes

Tickets: Book online at Terravision or purchase in the arrivals halls at the airport. Some airlines may also offer you tickets on the plane.


East End Express

The East End Express runs once per hour to Canary Wharf, Russell Square, Piccadilly and Earls Court. This service is run by Travel for London.

Cost: Starting at £12.50 one way for adults

Time: 55 - 75 minutes

Tickets: Pay on the bus or use your Oyster Card.


Stansted Airport Transfer by Hire Car / Minicab


Using a hire car or minicab is a popular Stansted Airport transfer. They're cheaper than black cabs however the price and level of service can vary. Call a couple of companies to make sure you are getting a good deal.

All hire cars and minicabs must be pre-booked. Your driver will greet you at the airport arrivals hall with your name on a board. Compared to black cabs this is a good choice for those looking to cut travel costs.

Cost: £45 - £100

Time: 45 to 85 minutes depending on traffic

Stansted Airport Transfer by Train


The Stansted Express goes ever 15 minutes and operates between the airport and Liverpool St Station. You can reach Stratford (East London) on the National Express East Anglia trains via the Lea Valley. The Airport train station is directly below the terminals and all trains depart from here. London Underground connections are available at Liverpool Street, Stratford and Tottenham Hale.

Cost: Starting at £13 one way for adults

Time: 40 - 60 minutes

Tickets: Book online at Stansted Express or National Express East Anglia, alternatively purchase at the station or airport.


London City Airport Transfer by Taxi - London Black Cab


Most people considerLondon Black Cabs expensive. And, they do have a point. Generally you will pay more for a black cab but the service is fantastic. Your friendly cabbie will know all the short-cuts, avoid road works and make sure you have a pleasant journey. Getting dropped to your hotel door is quite nice too.

London Black Cabs can seat 5 people, so if you have a group they're not as pricey as they first seem. Follow the signs to the taxi stand just outside the arrival hall.

Cost: £50 - £100

Time: 40 to 85 minutes depending on traffic
